Chefcitos Children’s Cooking Classes
Does your child like to cook? Sign them up for our Chefcitos Classes!
Chefcitos is an interactive in-person cooking class for all youth grades K-6. During these classes, children will learn how to use appropriate cooking tools and will create fun, seasonal recipes.
Cost: $30 per child with a 50% discount for National City residents.
Cancellation Policy: If you cannot attend the class and would like a refund, notify us at least 5 days prior to the scheduled class. We are unable to refund cancellations made within 5 days of the class, given staff time and materials purchases.

Send your Chefcitos to Mix It Up with Mediterranean to learn authentic recipes from the Mediterranean! This May, the garden-to-kitchen fun will include homemade hummus, tzaziki, pita chips and fattoush salad. Chefcitos will practice knife skills, teamwork and adventerous eating!

Join us in the Olivewood teaching kitchen for a hands-on family sushi experience! Our wonderful educators will walk you through making your own veggie sushi rolls using produce from the gardens. This class is designed for pairs of one adult and one child (grades K-6 welcome). Due to popular demand, there will be two classes offered: 10AM-12PM and 1:30PM-3:30PM. Spots are limited, register today!
